Summagon Digital

A math game for school that actually works in the classroom

You know how it goes. You've planned a lesson with a digital tool, and twenty minutes disappear on students who forgot their password, accounts that don't work and a tablet that refuses to log in. As a teacher, I've lost more lessons than I'd like to count to exactly that.

That's why I made Summagon Digital so it just works. No accounts, no login, no connection that has to hold up.

Built for classroom reality

Summagon Digital runs locally on the tablet. That means no student accounts to keep track of, no login that eats up half the lesson, and no panic when the network goes down. You start the app, and the students play. It works just as well on a shared set of classroom tablets as on the students' own devices.

What students practice

Summagon Digital is a complement to regular instruction. It's built to cement and automate multiplication, so the tables stick well enough that the student doesn't need to stop and think. The math is part of the game, not a separate exercise. Students mostly practice the multiplication tables, then addition, and logical thinking in the clever problems that come up.

Teacher to teacher

I use this with my own students, in lessons and after school. The great part is that the students often ask for it themselves. When repetition and automation feel like something students look forward to, instead of something they dread, you've won a lot as a teacher. That's why I want to share it with more teachers.

Safe and without hidden costs

Summagon Digital has no ads, no in-app purchases and no subscription. You pay once. And since no data is collected and no accounts are created, you don't have to worry about where student information ends up. It's deliberately built that way, since a school environment shouldn't have to think about that.

Because no data is collected, no accounts are created, and nothing leaves the device, neither parents nor schools have to worry about where a child's information ends up. That keeps things simple from a data protection standpoint too.
